Why Diets Don’t Work

Diets are like a holiday, you always go back to where you started.

The cabbage soup diet, the shake diet, the calorie controlled diet, the "VLCD", the no-carb diet.  They all have something in common - they're unsustainable. In fact, I'm going to make a sweeping statement and say that anything with the word "diet" in the title is a road destined for failure.  They sound like a quick fix, and sure - you lose weight initially, and maybe even reach your goal, but sooner or later you finish the diet.  You have to, because you can't live by those diet rules forever, and then the weight piles back on - often with interest!

In fact, what most "diet" companies won't tell you, is that they actually want you to fail.  There's no long-term profit for them if you maintain your goal weight and no longer need their services!

What if, instead, you knew how to make your body run at its optimal level?  What if you knew how to decipher all the "do's" and "do-not's" of good health and could sort out the marketing spin from the truth? what if you could learn some health principles that would give you the knowledge to achieve and maintain a body that was optimally healthy?  Knowledge that you could draw upon at any time that would assist you in creating healthy habits for life.   Wouldn't that be refreshing?
